At Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home, we firmly believe that our service to your family does not end on the day of the funeral.  We will assist you with navigating through applications for government survivor benefits, or other items related to settling the estate.

We have a Grief Library both in our office and on this website. We can assist with referrals to resources to help you deal with your grief.

We recognize that the holidays are a particularly difficult time for those who have suffered a loss. Even since prior to building our new funeral home, we have recognized the need for family members to acknowledge these emotions in a “safe” environment. To this end, we started holding a “Blue Christmas Service” in 1988. Countless survivors have benefited from coming together with others that are suffering during a time that seems only to be joyous for almost everyone else.
