SOLOTWINSKI, Olga Annie. Born March 27, 1933 – February 2, 2024. Aged 90 years.
Olga Solotwinski of Roblin, Manitoba passed away peacefully on February 2nd, 2024, at her home at the age of 90 years. Olga was predeceased by her loving husband Nick and son Bill Solotwinski. She is survived by her loving brother Mike; daughter Sophie; daughter-in-law Carol Solotwinski; and grandchildren Brandy, Barb, Brenda, Brent, Brad, Trevor, and Tyra.
Olga was famous for her perogies and was very proud that they were sold all over the country. She was also a very talented seamstress who had the pleasure of making her daughter’s wedding dress. She also had many clients with whom she had done their taxes for many years. One of her biggest passions was enjoying watching the hummingbirds at her window. Olga was also very proud of her large garden and rose bushes. She enjoyed watching both her children in a variety of sports. She had her way of expressing herself and you never had to worry where you stood with her as she wasn’t afraid to tell you. She was very loved by all her friends and family who will deeply miss her beautiful smile and great sense of humour.
A funeral service in memory of Olga will be held at a later date in the spring. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to NairnChyz-Wolkowski Funeral Services. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation. May she rest in peace.
