Minnie Ethel Lawson, commonly known as Ethel Lawson, of Grandview, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Grandview District Personal Care Home in Grandview, Manitoba, at the age of 96 years,

Born Minnie Ethel Green, a daughter of Richard and Eva (nee Gullett) Green at Grandview, on September 8, 1918.

Ethel received her education at Grandview and later was united in marriage to Jack Lawson. This union was blessed with three children.

Besides being a busy homemaker, wife and mother, Ethel was always willing to support her community by volunteering her time and gifts to numerous community projects.

Ethel was predeceased in death by her Parents, Richard and Eva Green, Husband, Jack Lawson, Son Ken Lawson, Daughter Betty Lawson and Brother Ralph Green.

Surviving to mourn Ethel’s death are, Daughter Mavis (David) Hamilton of Black Creek, B.C, and 2 Grandchildren, Jennifer (Mitch) Seper and Andy Warren.

Private Family Graveside Service to be held at a later date, in the summer of 2015 at Grandview District Cemetery.
