Leona Haberstock

Haberstock, Leona Gladys - April 7, 1935 - May 27, 2020 passed away peacefully at the Crocus Court Personal Care Home at the age of 85 years.

Leona was born to Sylvester and Elsie McGinnis (nee Boyce) in Makaroff, Manitoba. Here she attended Makaroff School until she met and married her husband, Arthur Haberstock. They were married November 2, 1951 at Grace Lutheran Church, Zorra, Saskatchewan and would remain married for the next 64 years.

They lived and farmed in the Zorra District, their entire married life. They religiously attended Grace Lutheran Church and were blessed with 3 children Barb, Glenn and Donovan (Donny).  Leona loved cooking and cleaning, as her house was spotless.

Leona is survived by her children; Barb (Garry) Hilderman, Glenn (Linda), daughter-in-law Sonia, also by the her grandchildren, which she loved so very much, David (Tiffany) Hilderman, Rachelle (Uwe) Engelhardt, Dawn Haberstock, Kyle Haberstock, Jennifer (Robert) Ricker and by her precious great-grandchildren, Makaja, Luxanna, Renay, Lydia, Donavan, Zain, Tristen, Hayden, Calla and by her great-great grandson, Grayson, sister Francis (Steve) Beck, brothers; Lawrence (Anne) McGinnis, Garth (Linda) McGinnis as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, beloved husband Arthur, son Donavan (Donny), great granddaughter Makaja Engelhardt, brother Neil, sister Loretta and nephew Dale McGinnis.
