Kenneth Grundy Obituary

GRUNDY, Kenneth S. born June 24, 1940 – March 12, 2022

                Kenny was born to Frank and Della Grundy in Russell, MB.  He was educated in the Makaroff consolidated school.  After school he farmed on the family farm at Makaroff with his dad.  He was a kind and gentle man.  In 1963, he married Sharon Radford and together they had two children; Brenda and Brent.

                They continued to farm until their retirement and moved to Roblin in December of 2018.  Kenny was challenged by many medical conditions throughout his lifetime, but always met them with a brave heart.  He loved to curl and play ball.  He attended EMC for many years and his favorite song was God on the Mountain”. 

                Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 58 years, Sharon, son Brent (Tess) and granddaughter, Brittany.  Son-in-law Loni (Brenda) and grandchildren Brooke (Jaret) great grandchildren – Harper and Cooper, grandchild Scott (Samantha) and many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

                Ken is predeceased by his daughter, Brenda parents Frank and Della Grundy, paren- in-laws Bill and Marie Radford, sister Erma Gardner, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Diane Prouse, sister-in-law Deb Hlady.

                We will miss his laugh and big smile, we know he is with Brenda now, praising their savior.

A family gathering to celebrate Kenny life will be held in the summer of 2022 with interment taking place at Makaroff cemetery, Makaroff district, MB., Donation in memory of Kenny may be made to Makaroff District Cemetery Fund as token of remembrance.  To leave a note of condolence for the family please visit nairnchyz-wolkowsk.ca
