It is with heaviest of hearts that on Thursday, May 10th, 2014 we announce the passing of Jeffery Neil Godwin, age 38 Years of Calgary Alberta, and formerly of Roblin, Manitoba.

Jeff, the first bundle of joy for Muriel and Barry, was born on December 6th, 1975 in Russell, Manitoba.

Jeff attended Roblin Elementary School and then Goose Lake High School, which he attended till Grade XI. Jeff then decided it was time to spread his wings and fly, of course coming home to see his mother, whom was his world. He lived in many different places travelling all over Canada. Along his travels in his short life he worked at many odd jobs such as cooking, babysitting, retail and farm work.

Jeff was predeceased by his Grandparents and his Aunt and Godmother Mildred Ruston.

Jeff leaves to mourn his two children, Zachary Ferrier and Dakota Rus; his Mother and Father, Muriel and Barry Godwin; two sisters, Jennifer Godwin (Dax Dupuis), and Jeanette Godwin (Jeremy Sutherland). He also leaves to mourn five nephews, Matthew, Bradley and Tyler Jarvis, Joshua Ironstand, and Isaiah Sutherland; two nieces, Caitlyn Jarvis and Sophia Sutherland, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.

Visitation for family and friends was held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 7:00– 8:00 PM from the Chapel of Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home in Roblin.

Jeffery’s Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM also from the Chapel of Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home, with Pastor Barry Wood officiating. The hymns were "Amazing Grace" and "Jesus Loves Me", and “How great Thou Art". Casket Bearers were; Kevin Paul, Clayton Paul, Cory Paul, Taras Daneluk, Jamie Maliteare and Danny Sobkow.

Following the Interment Service at the Roblin District Cemetery, a reception was held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church.

RIP Jeff, Gone but never forgotten,
