LANGAN, JACQUELINE DIANNE, September 5, 1955 - September 1, 2018, Jacqueline Dianne Langan (nee Frost) was born September 5, 1955 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her mother, Emma Frost (nee Lohead), was born in North Dakota and her father, Cecil Harry Frost, was born in Rathwell, Manitoba.
Jackie grew up across five provinces. She met her first love in Winnipeg. Having one child, they eventually settled in Alberta, where she received a Journeymanship as a parts person and service writer. Later on she moved to Calgary and met her second love, Tony Halabisky. They loved travelling and spending summers in Yukon running a campground. She also took business and computer courses. They moved to Ethelbert, Manitoba where they started farming. She took a job as Meal Coordinator at the Sunny Side Lodge and opened her own business the Snack Shack and Laundramat, always cooking amazing food for all.
Jacqueline later had a long battle with cancer, fighting all the way. She passed on September 1, 2018 at the Grandview Hospital with her love by her side. Jacqueline will be dearly missed by all family and friends. She will live on in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life Service was held for Jacqueline on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Garland Hall in Garland, Manitoba with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating.
