BOYANSKI, Fred Born August 9, 1929 – April 30, 2026. Aged 96 years.
With great sadness we announce the passing of our brother, Dad, Gido & Uncle; Fred Boyanski on April 30, 2026 at the age of 96. Fred was born in Roblin, Manitoba on August 9, 1929 to John & Katie (Glutyk) Boyanski. His sister Elizabeth (Nash) was born a few years later completing the family.
Fred married Lorraine (Taylor) July 4, 1962. In 1963, Angela was born to complete their family.
Through out the years Fred worked many jobs including working in the bush with his uncle Russell Glutyk, driving truck for Pete Peteleski and Britchers Sawmill. His main livelihood was farming. Having lived “back in the day” the farm always included both grain and cattle. As time progressed his love of cattle remained and that has been passed on to his family.
No matter how busy or what time of the year he was always up to a fishing trip, wiener roast, or a cup of coffee. Family and friends always came first.
Fred was predeceased by his parents John & Katie Boyanski, his wife of 49 years Lorraine, his mother & father-in-law; Anne & Herb Taylor, numerous sisters in laws, brothers in laws, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Fred is survived by his daughter Angela (Dennis) Dube, grandchildren Ashley & Dusty (Amanda), Great Grandchildren Katy, Gracy & Ryp. Sister Elizabeth (Leonard) Nash, Sister in Law’s Anne Stephanow, Florence Hewko, Gloria Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Prayer Service in memory of Fred was held on May 8, 2026 at the Chapel of NairnChyz-Wolkowski Funeral Services with Rev. Father Ivan Hnativ officiating. A Funeral Service was held the following day on May 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of NairnChyz-Wolkowski Funeral Services with Rev. Father Ivan Hnativ officiating.
