Eliza Smith

SMITH, Eliza Born June 20, 1937 – August 12, 2023. Aged 86 years.

It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of our mother Eliza Smith. Eliza passed away peacefully at William Booth Hospice on August 12^th, 2023 with her family by her side, at the age of 86 years.

    Left to mourn her passing is her daughter; Lori Smith (Darryl), her son; Stanley E. Smith Jr., daughter-in-law; Lillian, her grandchildren; Dylan (Jordana), Zachary (Faith), Justin (Chanel), Serene (Cody), Sheena, Larissa, Destiny, Colten and Alexis. Her great grandchildren Dax, Riley, Lila, Legacy, Scarlett, Clara, Charles, Jasmine, Jake and Kierra.

    Eliza is predeceased by her husband; Stanley Smith, by her parents; Francis and Marie Eagle, her sons; Kevin and Darren Eagle, her siblings; Albert Eagle, Beverly Shingoose (Eagle), and Doris Eagle, her grandson; Talon Eagle and her grandchildren Jasmine Smith.

   The family would like to thank the staff at 6F Regina General Hospital and the staff at the William Booth Hospice for all the hard work and loving care they gave to our mom, as well as chief and council of Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation.
