Eleanor May Poyser

POYSER, Eleanor May, Born June 30, 1930 – March 17, 2024. Aged 93 years.

            The family of Eleanor (Fowler) Poyser is saddened by her passing on March 17, 2024.

Eleanor was born on June 30, 1930 to James and Florence Fowler. Her siblings were sister Iva and brother Walter.

            Eleanor married the love of her life, Rueben Leonard Poyser on March 11, 1950. They had 5 children, Cathie (Lionel Desmarais), Pat (Randy Greenhalgh), Jim (Donna Poyser), Ardith (Dennis Burdeniuk), and Ron (Corelei Poyser). Eleanor and Len enjoyed farming and trucking. In 1974 they moved from the farm into Roblin where Len went full-time trucking and Eleanor went to work in retail. Eleanor enjoyed many trips with Len trucking up until Lens passing in 1988. Eleanor continued to work in retail until her retirement where she enjoyed travelling with family and friends.

            Eleanor also enjoyed quilting, gardening, and visiting, family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

            Mom and grandmother will be dearly missed by her family. She was the glue that held her family together. She will be missed, and always in our hearts. Rest in peace.
