Charlotte "Hertha" Edel

EDEL, Charlotte "Hertha" born November 25, 1928 - October 1, 2020 aged 91 years.

Charlotte Hertha Edel nee Wagner was born on November 25, 1928 to parents Jacob and Annie Wagner. In time, Hertha was reborn as a child of God in the waters of holy baptism and was confirmed in the Christian faith. She was united in holy matrimony to Adolph Edel on October 15, 1948 and blessed with five children, namely Mervin Clifford, Joyce Arlene, Geraldine Anne, Gloria Denise and Murray Adolph. On October 1st., 2020, God called Hertha home to heaven.
She is survived by her 5 children and their significant others; two sisters, Elsie Zimmer and Edna Kroll; one brother, Harold Wagner; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Adolph on November 8, 2017, her parents, her sister Elizabeth, her brother John and her daughter-in-law Shirley.

Funeral Service was held on October 8, 2020 from St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Roblin, MB with Pastor Barry Wood officiating.  Interment followed at Shevlin Cemetery, Shevlin District, MB.  For those who wish leave a donation in memory of Hertha can do so to the Roblin Hospital Auxiliary or to the Lutheran Hour.  To leave a note of condolence for the family please visit nairnchyz-wolkowski.ca
