Brian Wayne Pearton passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones in Medicine Hat, Alberta on Sunday, October 12th at the age of 59 years.

Brian is predeceased by his parents, George and Odetta Pearton; older brother Edward; infant sister Thelma; and nephews Dallas and Tyrell.
Brian was born on December 1, 1954 in Roblin, Manitoba to George and Odetta Pearton. He attended school at Roblin Elementary, as well as Roblin Collegiate Institute. He then worked for Roblin Forest Products for about five years. Brian always referred to Roblin as “God’s country” or simply “home”, but in 1980, he moved to Medicine Hat and worked for Paul’s Sand and Gravel for some years. In 1990, he moved to Manyberries, Alberta and drove truck for DJ’s Tank Service Ltd. until his retirement.
Brian’s children will always remember that he encouraged them to live their life to the fullest, work hard, and always be helpful to others. Brian loved to hunt and fish and has passed these traits on to his children. Sherry and Dan and many friends enjoyed playing cribbage with Brian.
Affectionately called Papa by many, Brian will be remembered as someone who was always fun to spend time with. He loved to laugh and tease and joke with everyone, even with the nurses when he was in the hospital. He enjoyed everyone’s visits and their company; each of his friends had a special place in Brian’s heart.
A Celebration of Brian’s life took place on Friday, November 28, 2014 in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Medicine Hat, Alberta. (800) 317-2647.
We miss your smile
Your joking ways,
We miss the things
You used to say
And when old times
We do recall,
It’s then we miss you
Most of All.
