Bennett Horace Duffy

1970 – 2015

Bennett Horace Duffy, age 45 years of Rocanville, Saskatchewan (formerly of Roblin, Manitoba) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Regina General Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Bennett Duffy was born on May 27, 1970 in Churchill, Manitoba.  He was a son of John and Jesse (nee Chapman) Duffy. 

He will be missed by his beloved wife, Robin Duffy of Rocanville, his son Christopher Hicks of Ontario, his stepson Rylee Bunz of Rocanville, his stepdaughter Celeena Bunz of Rocanville, one granddaughter, his mother Jesse Duffy of The Pas, Manitoba, his brother Abel (Brittany) Duffy of Alberta, his three sisters; Ellen (Leonard) Pachal of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Shirley (Don) Tulman of The Pas, and Patricia Duffy of The Pas.  He will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles as well as a host of friends.

Bennett was predeceased by his father John Duffy, his paternal grandparents; Thomas and Annie Duffy, his maternal grandparents; Abel and Amy Chapman, grandma and grandpa Klinck and grandma Bunz.

A Visitation was held on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home in Roblin.

The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, November 3 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home with Pastor Heath Butler officiating.

Bennett was laid to rest at Makaroff District Cemetery at Makaroff, Manitoba by the Casket Bearers; Don Tulman, Keith Chapman, Abel Duffy, Marlon Pachal, Fred Pachal and Marlin Pachal.

Following the Interment Service, a Memorial Reception was held at Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home.
