In Loving Memory of

Archie Allan Morrison

1945 – 2017

The lives of all who knew and loved Archie Morrison were changed forever in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 21, 2017, when he passed away peacefully at the Roblin District Health Centre at the age of 71 years with his son Miles and family by his side.

Archie was born on April 25, 1945 at Russell, Manitoba.  He was a son of Ronald and Dora (nee Robb) Morrison.

Archie was well known for his smile, his humour, his kindness, and his genuine concern for others. He was a trusted and thoughtful friend.

Archie was a farmer, a rancher, a mechanic, a truck driver and an equipment operator over his lifetime. He enjoyed hunting, camping and telling everyone about his wild experiences. His detailed renditions were not for the faint of heart, as he held nothing back while he vividly told his stories. Archie also never missed an opportunity to give his friends and family a hard time for everything and anything "all in fun of course”.

Archie was predeceased by the love of his life, best friend, and wife, Lucille, his parents Ronnie and Dora, and his brother Ken.

Archie leaves to mourn, his son Miles Morrison (Leona Hunter), and grandchildren Vincent & Gabrielle Hunter, and will be missed by his sister Barbara (Jim) Whyte. Uncle “Joe” will not be forgotten by his nephews and nieces; Gilbert (Lisa) (Linzie and April) Morrison, Holly (Kevin) (Darwin and Hayley) Lakoduk, Eunice (Darryl) (Kalum, Courtney, Ashley and Owen) Neubeker, and Jeff (Pam) (Aurelia, Auley and Isla) Whyte.  He will also be remembered by numerous cousins, friends, and neighbours.

Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Cords for taking Archie to his appointments and seeing him to the Hospital.

The Family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff at the Roblin Hospital, everyone's compassion and care will not be forgotten.

A celebration of life and interment service will take place at a later date.
